Attracting the best students to International Joint Master’s:
A one day workshop at the Sapienza University of Rome
Conference objectivesThis one day workshop in Rome, exploring these issues and providing fresh solutions, also presents the EM-ACE marketing toolkit, aimed at attracting students to Erasmus Mundus andother joint master’s programmes. With the support from the European Commission, the Marketing Toolkit has been created by experts from Sapienza University of Rome, Ghent University, the University of Melbourne, Campus France, UNICA network, University of Belgrade, and The Knowledge Partnershipand is a free resource for all universities.
Joint Master’s Degrees are proliferating in a competitive world, providing many students with an international and high quality academic experience. Erasmus Mundus has just begun a new phase under the Erasmus+ programme, and it remains at the heart of European policy to encourage the best students to study outside their home environment. However, sometimes institutions fail to attract the best students, make the most of scholarships, or fill courses. Often, lack of marketing and promotion means students don’t ever discover the opportunities or support athand.
