Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees have gained an
international reputation for the quality of teaching, academic rigour, and
multidisciplinary expertise offered by the participating institutions.
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees are study programmes abroad.
Currently about 130 master programmes of outstanding academic quality in
diverse fields are on offer. Students will take courses at two or more European
universities in different countries and – depending on the structure of
the programme - sometimes at non-European universities as well. The choice of
universities/countries depends on the programme. The programmes last 1 year, 18
months or 2 years (60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits).

If you finish an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree with success you will be awared a prestigious
double, multiple* or joint degree** from the participating universities. The
degrees awarded comply with European and international recognition standards
and are officially recognized in the countries where the degree-awarding
institutions are located.

Erasmus Mundus offers scholarships for excellent
European candidates. These cover participation fees, travel and a monthly
allowance. For further information visit the Scholarships
Paul, a German student can apply for a two-year Joint
Master (120ECTS) offered by the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (Spain), the
University of Oxford (UK) and the University of Warsaw (Poland). He will study
in at least two of these universities. After completion of the Master’s, Paul
will be awarded a multiple degree, i.e. three national diplomas, by the three
universities offering the joint programme.
